Can a Twitter Developer API access token ever expire?
I am planning on implementing a mobile app which consumes the Twitter Streaming API. I would like to do this by creating a REST interface on a web server which consumes the API in the background, then returns the data to the mobile app as soon as it is received.
In the Twitter documentation for the API, they state that access tokens can be refreshed at any time, and any time you refresh an access token you lose the previously-validated access permissions (
My question is this: is it safe to make an assumption that the access token which I have been granted to be valid for a period of time longer than the authorization? I understand that the access token grants me permissions, but is it possible for the API to expire it, and the Twitter API is safe to assume that the access token will never expire?

A valid access token can never expire.
This is because access tokens are short lived, with the typical lifespan of them being about a minute.
You can generate your access tokens here and to refresh it just call the token endpoint from the access token url that was generated.
The refresh tokens endpoint is here, and it basically just sends a code to the token endpoint.
